Groeten uit Florida met dank aan Michael

Als wij vanochtend wakker worden en de nieuwe dag begroeten… is het nog diepe nacht in Florida. Hierboven een plaatje van Mexico beach bij zonsondergang. Mooi rommeltje. Vandaag kunnen we even stilstaan bij dit weergeweld. Een overzicht uit de social media.

We beginnen met een waterhoos die als tornado aan land gaat. Dat heb je dan ook nog eens letterlijk als spin-off van hurricanes.

Maar het verschil tussen een tornado en een hurricane is dus een smal spoor van vernietiging tegenover massale verwoesting.

Dat was dus Mexico beach. Verder met Panama beach.

Inmiddels is het een tropische storm die met minder wind nog steeds gigantische hoeveelheden regen brengt en tornado’s naar Georgia en de Carolinas.

Deel hieronder wat jij nog ziet. Ik doe de groeten uit Ortisei in Val Gardena. Ga zo even bij de VVV langs en daarna een ronde vliegen. Er gaat bewolking optrekken hier. Hoop niet te snel zodat ik een mooie vliegvideo bij jullie kan afleveren. Best bijzonder als je in Tirol woont hoe dichtbij alles is. Val Gardena bijvoorbeeld dichterbij dan Sauerland vanuit Nederland!
